Supply Primary Teacher

Step Teachers are currently seeking Primary Teachers to aid a variety of Primary Schools within the Kingsbridge area to cover absences. We offer brilliant rates and a variety of benefits during your time with Step Teachers.

The role of the Primary Teacher entails covering set lessons within a variety of Primary settings. You teach students, mark assignments, and maintain records of their progress.  Supply teachers can work within multiple schools on day-to-day assignments, or provide long-term cover to a specific school, and cover long-term absences, such as maternity leave. This is an excellent path for those looking to gain further experience in a work-life balance. 

Role: 

• Strong KS1/2 knowledge

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed 

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable 

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required 

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons 

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively  

Requirements: 

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of 

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience in Primary
