Supply SEN Teacher
Location: Richmond upon thames
Start Date: September 2024 - July 2025 as a minimum.
Role: Full-Time, Monday - Friday
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team in Richmond upon thames. This full-time position involves working with Key Stage 1 and 2 children, supporting those with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities as a Supply SEN Teacher in Richmond upon thames:
- Develop and implement tailored learning plans for students with diverse SEN needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to provide holistic support.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting strategies as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' development and well-being.
Requirements:
- Full teaching qualifications (QTS).
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with ASC and challenging behaviour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the educational experience of SEN students.
- The ability / willingness to travel across Richmond upon thames to a variety of SEN Schools
