SalarySupply Teacher
We have a flexible role opportunity for a Supply Teacher to work across various primary schools in Amersham and surround areas. The main role of a Supply Teacher is to provide temporary cover for absent teachers, ensuring that continuity of learning is maintained in their absence. Supply teachers step into classrooms across various subjects and year groups, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans effectively and managing classroom behaviour to create a positive and productive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Step in as a temporary replacement for absent teachers across various subjects and year groups.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively, ensuring continuity in pupil learning.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse pupil populations.
- Provide feedback to regular teaching staff on pupil progress and any noteworthy incidents.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Previous teaching experience in primary or secondary education.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage pupils effectively.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in different primary school environments and with varying curriculum requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
