Pay: £100 – £150 per day depending on experience for Qualified Teachers!
Pay: £90 – £110 for Cover Supervisors
About the role:
Supply Desk are working closely with a Secondary School based in Salisbury that are seeking a full time Supply Teacher or Cover Supervisor to start ASAP until the end of July 2024. The role will be covering a range of subjects across Key Stage 3 and 4. Ideally you will have recent experience working in a similar role and be available immediately. As a Supply Teacher/Cover Supervisor, you will need to be adaptable in covering a range of subjects and be confident with behaviour management. The School will consider Non-qualified Teachers, that have experience in similar roles, ideally recently. You will need to have a degree and ideally some experience working in a similar role. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone that is seeking a career in education and teaching.
About the School:
The school is based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, and is a mixed secondary school with around 800 students in total aged from 11 to 16 years. This is a successful Secondary school that celebrated excellent results in it’s last GCSE’s with 72 % of students achieving a level 4 and above for English. The school comes with an excellent reputation to work in and is led by an excellent senior leadership team.
We are currently looking for Teachers who:
- Are outstanding classroom professionals
- Have a clear knowledge and understanding of the Secondary curriculum
- Comfortable teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Experience with high levels of Army children in schools would be beneficial due to the nature of the local area
- Confident covering an array of subjects with a subject specialism being a bonus
- Are committed, professional and are a good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
- Qualified Teacher / Registered with GTC/ QTS/ ECT
- Happy to support more challenging schools where behaviour may be present in the classroom
- Have a DBS on the Update Service
