Supply Teacher

Hello-Education are currently hiring Supply Teachers for schools across the Northeast!

We are working with multiple secondary schools across Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland, and Durham who require full/part time Supply Teachers for various subjects.

The Role

• Working with students in KS3, KS3 and KS5.
• Teach classes at all times
• Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment
• Supply appropriate planning materials, following school plans where provided
• Support the use of support staff relevant to the class
• Mark work for students
• Maintain a professional standard of dress and behaviour
• Carry out the duties of a regular teacher as much as possible ie, covering form classes, taking class registers, attending school assemblies, enforcing school rules etc
• Working with multiple subjects within schools

The Candidate

• Previous teaching/lecturing experience
• Great communication skills, written and oral
• Strong classroom management
• Great behaviour management
• Ability to influence others positively
• Ability to react quickly and effectively in challenging situations
• Ability to relate and build relationships easy
• Self motivated
• Organised
• Professional
• Outgoing
• Punctual
• DBS on update service is desirable but not essential
