Academic's secondary division are currently looking to recruit knowledgeable French (MFL) teachers for daily supply and short (with the potential of long) term contracts from January 2024 within our partnership secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Our supply opportunities are great as they allow our teachers to be flexible with the days that they wish to work. These roles can be ideal for ECT's as they could potentially lead to more long-term and permanent roles in some of our schools.
French Teachers who apply must:
- Hold the relevant qualification in French or Modern Foreign Languages (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
- Have experience and knowledge of delivering French within the national curriculum and to have a proven track record of working with students in Key Stage 3 (up to Key Stage 5 would also be desirably, but not essential).
- Be able to motivate and challenge learners of all abilities.
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
