Supply Teacher

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Year 5 teacher for a vibrant primary school in Manchester, for one full year starting in September 2024. This role is suitable for an ECT or experienced teacher. You will need to have taught in Key Stage 2 and have confident, positive behaviour management skills. Excellent understanding of assessment and differentiation is essential order to enable the children to make progress at the best possible rate.

You will need to have a strong understanding of the curriculum for this age group, and be an engaging teacher who can enthuse and motivate the children with their learning. A creative approach to planning and teaching, and the ability to make innovative links between subjects, is required.

A positive behaviour management style is essential. The school would love to add a dynamic teacher with excellent communication skills to their staff team. This is a friendly and welcoming school where the staff team works extremely hard to give every child the provision they need to succeed academically, and develop well socially and emotionally.

• Contract type - Long-term supply position with the potential of permanent contract
• Minimum rate of pay - £130 per day, to £230 depending on experience
