Supply Teaching Assistant

Are you a university student, or have a family of your own, or have a part time role where you are wanting a flexible work to fit around your schedule? We work with a large number of school and academies in and around Bristol who are always interested in welcoming further TA's to support the school.

Your main duties will include:

- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities

- Provide support to students including those with a special educational need

- Conduct small group or one-on-one tutoring sessions to reinforce learning concepts

- Assist in classroom management and behaviour management strategies

- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Support students in their social and emotional development

- Help students with their creative writing projects and assignments

Requirements:

- Experience working with children within UK schools

- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues

- Ability to mentor and motivate students to reach their full potential

- Patience and empathy when working with students who may face challenges in their learning journey

There are opportunities to work either full time, part time or on a supply basis, if you demonstrate to be an excellent addition to the team, there will be an opportunity to progress permanent position. We work with both mainstream and SEN environments, if you have excellent experience, we would be more than happy to support the introduction into the schools.
