Job Description

Raploch Primary is a non-denominational school serving the Raploch area of Stirling and is situated within Raploch Community Campus in Drip Road. An opportunity has arisen for a 0.5FTE Support for Learning Teacher to join the nurturing, dynamic, values-driven and supportive team at Raploch Primary. You will be expected to have a sound knowledge of current trends in effective learning and teaching, have experience of teaching across a wide range of classes and have the ability to identify and support children with a range of Additional Support Needs. This will involve working as part of a team to create effective learning environments to support the learning of individuals and groups of children. As the Support for Learning Teacher your role is to support your school in providing quality learning for all children and in particular those with Additional Support Needs. In doing so you will carry out the roles of Consultation, Direct Teaching, Co-operative Teaching and Specialist Services including assessment and Staff Development. You will be supported in school by the Head Teacher and from the ASN Outreach Service within the Local Authority. This appointment will commence August 2024
