Job Title: Support Grade Band 2
Type: Full-Time
Duration: 3 months
Responsibilities:
- Collect, sort, and record DSIB/Virology samples.
- Work to ISO17025 standards, ensuring accreditation compliance.
- Collaborate in a team for timely diagnostic/statutory results.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain lab records using Excel, scanning, filing, and emailing.
- Dispose of Virology waste, ensure lab cleanliness, and instrument maintenance.
- Order/store items, conduct stocktaking, and monitor consumables.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs, including a science subject.
- General science background preferred.
- Experience in a laboratory environment is beneficial.
- Effective communication skills.
- Team player with flexibility for varying work hours.
