In the Support Practitioner role, you will be:
- Assisting adults over 50 with shopping, prescription collection, appointments, companionship, cooking, cleaning, and more. Tailored to individual needs. Please note, personal care is not provided
- Playing a crucial role in ‘Home Life’ which is a growing chargeable service to residents across Denbighshire and Conwy, which is now in its 5th year of trading
Suitable applicants will need:
- A desire to make a difference to people’s lives
- A full UK driving license and access to your transport (essential)
- Experience working within a support-based role (i.e. support worker, community or care assistant - advantageous)
- Health and Social Care qualified or equivalent (beneficial)
- Ability to travel around your designated area as required
- Successful candidates subject to a satisfactory DBS Check
What’s on offer:
- Enjoy a 12-month contract, including national minimum wage (rising in April 2024)
- Paid travel time, holiday pay, and mileage reimbursement at 35p per mile
- Flexible part time working hours available to suit your availability - from approx. 9 to 18hrs
- Team environment - working in a small, friendly supportive team of 7
