Support Relations Assistant

£11.00 - £12.00 per hour DOE

The role will be focused on making outbound calls to people that support the client by taking on an event. We have a number of supporters taking part in walks and runs for the charity across the year. The successful candidate will carryout welcome calls to the supporters, welcoming them to the team, asking them about how their fundraising is going and answering any questions that they may have. The opportunity will additionally require them to use the clients internally database, this requires strong computer literacy although there will be full training.
The calls aren't cold calls, as the supporter is known to the charity and will be expecting to hear from us, but they will be high in volume and that will be the absolute main purpose of this temporary team member's role, so they'll need to be comfortable with working on something that's highly repetitive.
Essential skills we're looking for
- Friendly and efficient telephone manner - must have experience of making outbound calls in a previous role
- Confident user of Microsoft applications - Outlook, Word, Excel especially
- Data entry experience
- Attention to detail
- Quick learner
Desirable skills
- Experience of working in a call centre or a role that deals with high volumes of outbound calls
- Experience of using Dynamics or another fundraising
