We currently have Permanent vacancies for Support & Wellbeing Workers within the Newport Reablement Care Team.
Variety of contracts between 10 and 16 hours including weekend only and set shift pattern working 3 days then 4 days over a two-week period
The Newport Community Resource Team, Reablement Care Service is looking for Support and Wellbeing Workers to join the team to assist enabling people to regain their independence and live in their own homes and communities.
As a Support and Wellbeing Worker, you will need to travel to people’s homes in order to provide high quality care tailored to the needs of the individual. Your rewarding role will involve:
- Supporting people and helping them relearn skills and regain their independence in their own homes.
- Motivating people to achieve the goals they have set.
- Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting
We need people who have some relevant experience in a care setting.
Have you a level 3 QCF Health and Social Care certificate or are you willing to develop your skills towards achieving one? All new staff receive excellent training, mentoring and support, so you’ll be fully prepared to meet different needs and deliver the highest quality care.

- Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner to meet to the requirements of the post is essential.
