Job Overview

Our well-established client located in Burgess Hill, Childrens Residential, are seeking a Support Worker to join their team. Supporting children with Emotional and behaviour disorders, on a Full time, permanent basis, with a salary up to 26,874 (including sleep ins). The ideal candidate will be passionate, motivated, looking for their next challenge.

Main Responsibilities

Main responsibilities as a Support Worker, ensuring that the young people's needs are met, also to assist the management in the home in compliance with OFSTED, legislation, and the ethos and polices of the company. To exercise responsible control over the children to ensure their safety and wellbeing and assist them in developing acceptable standards of personal hygiene and behaviour. This also applies to encouraging children to abide by house rules and principles. To maintain a good understanding of children and protection and safeguarding procedures.

Skills Required

MUST hold the following:

Full UK driving License with access to your own vehicle.

Have experience of working with children and young people with challenging behaviours including mental health and behavioural problems
