Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our team on one of the Islands.This role is a contract position for 3 months on the Islands. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a team of Support Workers to deliver high-quality care and support to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn upto £10000 in three months.
Responsibilities:
* Providing leadership and guidance to a team of Support Workers
* Coordinating and allocating work tasks, ensuring that support is delivered effectively and in line with individual care plans
* Providing hands-on support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
* Undertaking assessments and reviews of individual care plans
* Liaising with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care
* Monitoring and reporting on the progress and well-being of clients
* Supporting with staff training, development, and supervision
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a similar role within the social care sector
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
* Experience of working with individuals in a care home or care at home setting
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Must be a car driver
* A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
