Job description

Our Client ’A’ is a 14 year old boy who is a fun loving, adventurous, loves to laugh and have fun, so candidates will need a great sense of humour and the ability to think on their feet and be spontaneous with ideas and opportunities to engage him as he has a curious and inquisitive nature.

In his own words here is some information you should know about him

“I am fun and energetic. I love going to the theatre and listening to music. I have completed a DJing course, and I am about to start more lessons. My favourite genre to mix is pop music, but my favourite genre to listen to is tracks from musicals. My other interests include media, computers, food, and theme parks. In the future I would like to be a primary school teacher and I often practice this at home. I am also starting a mentoring course to help me towards this goal.

My brother has just left to go to university, so it is just me and my mum in the house (and our animals). I would like to go out and do more social activities, so if you could help me with that by looking for exciting events and opportunities that would be great. I also like to go out for food, and I like to pick the restaurant, so it would be good to have someone to go with. I would like a Support Worker that is creative, matches my energy, and has some of the same interests as me or would like to learn more about my interests.

I already have two Support Workers and I am looking for someone else to join the team! To start with you would be working with one of my existing Support Workers. My Support Workers could train you up on my likes and dislikes. It is important to me that I get to meet you before you take the job, to make sure that we get on.”
