Support Worker

A Support Worker is needed in a mixed Secondary School in South London.

This will be a full time and long term/permanent Support Worker post. Working hours are 8am to 4pm, every day.

You will be expected to develop pupils moral, physical and spiritual health for this Support Worker role.

You will need to be able to support pupils across all key stages as a Support Worker.

Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to; assisting lower attaining pupils in class, working 1:1 with specific SEN pupils and carrying out brief refresher sessions for particular groups of children.

The rates of pay for this Support Worker position will be between £72 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each candidate.

The School

An 'Outstanding' Secondary school and sixth form in South London, located near a Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI).

It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you are a recent Graduate or experienced Support Worker.

You are also welcome to apply if you are a British trained Support Worker or overseas trained Support Worker.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Support Worker:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
  • Experience of supporting/working with children from the ages of 11 to 18
