Support Worker

Job Overview: We are currently seeking dedicated Support Workers to provide compassionate care to individuals in need with in our Residential Care And Daycare For Adults With Learning Disabilities. The role involves assisting with daily activities and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Our shifts are 7am -14:00pm and 14:00-21:30pm

Responsibilities:

- Providing personal care and support to adults in residential care and daycare.

- Assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming.

- Supporting individuals with mobility issues and helping with heavy lifting when necessary.

- Engaging residents in activities and providing companionship.

- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding if required.

- Administering medication under the supervision of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in patient care, nursing home, or home care settings is advantageous.

- A valid driving licence is essential for transportation purposes.

- Ability to provide compassionate care to individuals in need.

- Experience in senior care, hospice care, or similar environments is beneficial.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

- Willingness to undergo training and development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
