Are you an experienced Personal Assistant who would love to use your skills to help us Beat Macular Disease?
Are you somebody who would love to use your administrative and organisational skills to help support a visually impaired neurodivergent Manager within Macular Society?
Macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, with around 300 people diagnosed every day. The Macular Society is the only charity determined to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease with world class research, and the best advice and support.
This is an administration role, so a knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential, and a knowledge of database is desirable. You will be working closely with the Manager at all times, so good communication and listening skills are essential. The role is to support with sighted tasks that the Manager is unable to complete using assistive technology. This is a professional role offering support around all aspects of his role and not personal tasks. You will be comfortable with using public transport and planning the routes, accompanying the manager across London. When not traveling you will be working remotely, based at home. Excellent internet connection is essential.
The interview will consist of panel questions, and you will be required to complete a task demonstrating your IT and written communication skills.
