Wage: £12.00 - £14.10 Days - - £13.50 to £15.68 Nights

We are currently seeking Support Workers to join our team at in Merthyr Tydfil & across Valleys. If you have a minimum of 6 months of experience as a Support Worker / Care Assistant in UK, we would love to hear from you!

Requirements for Support Worker / care assistant role:

• Minimum 12 months of experience as a Support Worker / care assistant in a residential setting in UK,
• A full driving license in the UK.
• Must possess an updated DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate or be willing to obtain.
• Social Care Wales- Adults - or be willing to obtain.

Responsibilities of a Support Worker / care assistant:

• Provide person centred/individualised care and support adults in a residential setting.
• Promote a safe and nurturing environment for adults physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Work with Elderly, Adults with Learning Disabilities or in a supported living environment (doesn't have to be all you can have a preference)
• Follow care plans, risk assessments & document in daily logs, food and hydration charts.
• Support adults in daily activities, including personal care, encouraging Independence, and recreational pursuits.
• engage with the residents like you would engage with your family members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Support Worker / care assistant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently..
• Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
