Will be willing to do night and day shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Help individuals with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if necessary
- Assist with medication administration and ensure compliance with prescribed medications
- Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
- Document and report any changes in behaviour or health status to the appropriate supervisor
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanour
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of individuals
