We need people who competent to drive the people we support in their own transport. We therefore require applicants with a full UK driving license. 
 
We have a variety of shifts patterns, available in the Oxford.

We support and care for people with different abilities. We currently have an age range of between 30– 50 years old. We support a number of people; we communicate closely with the people we support family as they are a big part of their lives. We thrive in making a difference in the people we support life by having compassion and committing ourselves, helping them to achieve their goals by providing them with courage. “Best life possible” is something we always aim to achieve; we like to believe that the people we support also contribute to staff’s best lives possible.
Our Home 
  • We are a supported living home made up of houses bungalows and flats
  • There is shared space in the house 1 and house 2 where we can eat together and chat which includes the kitchen, dining room and sitting room.
  • There is parking available on-site for friends and family
  • We have a large front garden where we enjoy having BBQs and in summer watching our flowers grow! We have plans to do up our garden and have more flowers planted!
Our home is convenient for getting out and about:
  • We close to all local amenities, and we are also close to Cowley centre
  • We have lovely parks nearby where we enjoy walking
  • Good bus links to Oxford centre and other surrounding areas. We live in house and have our own mobility vehicles

Most of us are mobile but some need a little bit of physical assistance to get around our house and out and about. We have different challenges in our lives which include epilepsy, cerebral palsy dysphagia, autism and learning disabilities.  We have a staff team who are all trained and familiar with supporting someone with similar needs.

We need someone who will try and get to know us and understand our wishes and desires, to be patient, respectful, to be understanding, to have a sense of humour, to enjoy similar activities as we do.

We want someone who is confident in what they do, can ask us questions, and allow us to also ask questions. We want new ideas that we can try out.
