Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide care and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings and possess the skills necessary to support individuals with diverse needs.
Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal care, and medication administration
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals in need
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Support individuals with complex specialized needs
- Drive individuals to appointments or outings as required
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in nursing homes or assisted living facilities
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all individuals under your care
Skills:
- Experience in assisted living or caregiving roles
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Ability to provide childcare or support individuals with special needs
- Familiarity with nursing home or dementia care practices
