SalaryThe role will be supporting adults with learning disabilities in a home setting and you will be assisting with the following:
- Personal Care: Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming (where necessary)
- Household Tasks: Supporting with household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Healthcare Support: Administering medication, arranging medical appointments, and providing basic medical care.
- Emotional Support: Offering companionship, listening, and providing emotional support to individuals.
- Promoting Independence: Encouraging and enabling individuals to develop life skills for independent living.
- Creating Support Plans: Working with individuals to create personalised support plans that address their specific needs and goals.
- Advocacy: Representing and advocating for individuals' needs and rights in various situations, including liaising with healthcare providers and social services.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records and documentation of the care provided.
The client is also offering a shift enhancement depending on who you work with and free meals on site.
