Supported Internship Job Coach (Fixed term until 31/08/2024)

We are currently seeking a Supported Internship Job Coach (Fixed term until 31/08/2024) to join The Bedford College Group at our Chicksands Military Base. As a Supported Internship Job Coach you play an important role in the success of our students to: To be provide support to students with the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across all aspects of their work placement programme To provide overall care of the student and enable him/her to access the work placement facilities and develop independence within the wider community. To be an active member of the Supported Internship Team and to assist in the development of individual programmes and the assessment of student progress. Ideal candidates will have experience of providing support to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in an educational, work placement or care setting, alongside the following qualifications: Educated to Level 2 in Maths and English Relevant L3 qualification or willingness to work towards Successful candidates must also be able to demonstrate alignment to our organisational VISION values: Valuing Teamwork - We are one team who by working together can achieve great things, respecting the opinion and valuing the contribution each of us makes.
