Surface Mount Operator / SMT

Profectus are working with a leading technology company based in the Derbyshire area, this role involves operating the PCB Assembly Surface Mount line in a new, modern manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Production Manager, responsibilities include logistics, product assembly, testing, and ensuring the integrity of the manufacturing process. Travel within the UK may be required. Opportunities for production build, new product introduction, and enhancing existing processes.
 
Required Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years' experience in electronic manufacturing
• Training in Surface Mount operation.

 
Desirable Skills and Experience:

• HND/HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Applicable IPC training
• Through-hole soldering and Surface Mount rework experience

 
Conditions:

• British citizenship required
• Must obtain and retain an unconditional DV security clearance
