Are you a skilled and commercially minded Building Surveyor or Senior Building Surveyor looking for an exciting opportunity to join a leading multi-disciplined construction and property consultancy?

Remarkable Jobs is seeking a Surveyor or Senior Building Surveyor to become part of our dynamic team, working across a range of projects and clients.

As a key member of our client s Group, you will lead on Project Co-ordinating, Contract Administration, and general Surveying duties.

Building Surveyor Key Responsibilities include:

• Receive and negotiate client instructions and fee proposals for diverse projects and surveying instructions.
• Survey and report on residential, commercial, and education properties.
• Act as Lead Consultant for refurbishment and new build projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and education.
• Chair meetings, presentations, and resident meetings as required.
• Utilize expertise in JCT contracts, Party Wall matters, and building pathology/defects diagnosis.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.

Building Surveyor Key Skills/Experience:

• Relevant Degree educated.
• RICS or MRICS (or equivalent) desirable or desire to complete the accreditation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Several years of relevant experience
• Professional report writing ability.
• Client-facing with good personal presentation.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle difficult situations.
• Organized and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Mentorship experience with junior staff.
• Must have access to own vehicle and a clean driving license.
