Sushi Chef

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sushi Chef to join our team at our restaurant. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi dishes and ensuring customer satisfaction with every bite. Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and mentor junior Sushi Chefs, if applicable
- Stay updated on industry trends and new sushi techniques

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and ingredients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing dishes
- Excellent knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus, but not required
