That's where you come in, Green Ibex is a startup that is helping organisations to thrive in a net zero world, and Talent Tent is delighted to partner with them looking for a Sustainability Advisor to help them deliver that mission.

As an early hire to the organisation, this role presents the opportunity to grow with Green Ibex, making an impact by bringing your knowledge of sustainability to their client partners.

The role

As a Sustainability Advisor, you will be the a centre of knowledge in the business for all things related to sustainability, carbon net zero and environment.

Working closely with the Project Co-ordinator and CEO, you will deliver sustainability projects by working closely with clients to gather their inputs, track project milestones and keep track to ensure they are met. You will manage relationships across projects, as well as with third party suppliers.

Day to day you will be delivering the following;


  • Drawing up sustainability strategies for our clients

  • Creating targets and milestones within projects, and working with the Project Co-ordinator to achieve them

  • Provide advice, guidance and specialist knowledge

  • Monitor performance and provide reporting against milestones

  • Engaging with client, internal and third party stakeholders to deliver your projects.

  • Staying ahead of industry trends and emerging best practices in sustainability.

This is a brand new role, so you will be ready to innovate, work independently and develop ways to approach projects.

This is an extremely independent and proactive role, where you will be solving problems, looking ahead and providing excellent knowledge leadership.

What we are looking for

You might fit some or all of these points, however please still apply if you do not have 100% of these;


  • Good knowledge of environmental legislation, either via a degree or equivalent working experience

  • Excellent report writing and analytical skills

  • Able to set out a strategy and translate this into action

  • Great communication and customer relationship skills

The recruitment process will include an initial call with a member of the Talent Tent team, followed up with interviews with Green Ibex for the successful candidates.
