Our Client is a leading importer, supplying major retailers in the UK with beautiful home textiles and they are now seeking a Sustainability Assistant to join their team.

Reporting to the Sustainability Leader you will be responsible for:-

• Supporting the Sustainability Leader in daily tasks
• Collating and managing relevant product data from internal commercial and technical teams and suppliers
• Devising and implementing sustainability protocols and systems in line with business needs
• Reporting to internal teams and customers
• Monitoring the performance and progress of suppliers through product testing and document verification

Once trained :

• Supporting the product development team in sustainable and circular textile development
• Developing KPI’s for suppliers
• Developing a strategy to create a more sustainable HQ

The successful candidate must have an interest in both sustainability and the textile industry.
