Sustainability Manager
Cedar are currently working closely with a World-leading FMCG business based in Oxfordshire in their search for a passionate Sustainability Manager.
The role requires someone to sit within Operations / Engineering reporting into a Plant Director. It is therefore very desirable that candidates have previously had some experience within an Engineering environment and subsequently moved into a Sustainability role.
Key requirements include:
- Create a Sustainability road map to help drive impactful change.
- Work closely with suppliers, growers and other stakeholders to advance sustainable solution initiatives.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for sustainable strategies bringing new ideas to improve energy consumption on site.
- Be the go-to person internally for all things sustainability, creating training materials and lead sustainability demonstrations
- Work closely with the Plant Director and Senior Engineers to understand the opportunity to improve efficiencies and therefore energy consumption.
To be successful in the role you will need to:
- Have worked in a Sustainability role previously, ideally within FMCG
- Be comfortable liaising closely with key suppliers to drive change
- Ideally come from an Engineering background
