About the role
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Officer to join the Guinness Team. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy which is based in our London, Brock Street office. We are currently working to a hybrid working style, working 2 days per week in the office and 3 from home. As such, it is a requirement for candidates to be able to work 2 days per week from the location mentioned above.
The overall purpose of the role is to deliver sustainability projects that maximise income from external funding streams to support investment programmes for the benefit of our customers, as well as deliver against sustainability objectives as outlined.

You'll be able to demonstrate:
Essential:
- Up to date knowledge of sustainability legislation.
- Up to date knowledge of government policy on energy efficiency funding and grants and knowledge of renewable energy applications.
- Ability to challenge and influence through discussion and debate.
- Ability to review assessments of property in line with standard approaches to EPC's.
- Ability to engage with the customers effectively.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience of writing and presenting management information reports
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
Desirable:
- Experience of working with resident groups
- Experience of working within Social Housing
- Experience of supervision of contractors
- Experience of working in an asset management, regeneration, or planned maintenance environment
- Experience of delivering grant funded energy saving projects
Desirable qualifications:
- City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in DEA
- Member of energy assessor accreditation scheme desirable
