Working as a Paint Launch Technician within our SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) team you will be responsible for working on -halo- models, limited run collectors' editions and high specification vehicles working with the pinnacle of what JLR can offer. The SVO Paint team deliver bespoke paint solutions outside of the standard colour options available to customers- some of the colours our customers choose can be really challenging to deliver.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Monitoring paint trials on production lines.
  
• Paint trial ownership, planning and delivery.
  
• Collecting, analysing and presenting key metrics.
  
• Identification of key elements to enable team to make progress where required.
  
• Coaching of sprayers during trial phase (e.g., repair).
  
• Attend meetings at all levels and present where applicable.
  
• Manage paint technical issues and escalate where appropriate.
  
• Leading problem-solving activities.
  
• Maintain and manage stock of trial parts and materials.
  
• Creation of work instructions.
  
• Coordination of reviews/events.
  
• Ensure Health & Safety guidance / procedures are followed.
  
• Ensure strong working relationship with all functions.
  WHAT YOU-LL NEED
  
• Strong paint application experience.
  
• Good understanding of technical elements of paint.
  
• Computer literate on Microsoft Office.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  
• Flexibility on working hours as per business need
  
• Ability to be accountable for work area and related activities.
  
• Excellent problem solving.
  
• Good verbal and written communications.
  
• Ability to naturally strive for continuous improvement.
