Form of workPrestigious banking entity is seeking Immediate StartSWIFT Payments officer to help with growing volumes. The role will be hybrid 3 Office / 2 home and the bank is located close to Mayfair.
SWIFT Payments Officer - Immediate Start
- Process the daily work relating to logging, inputting &/or verification of Inward / Outward payments relating to all NBKI business units
- Fixed Deposits & Standing Orders
- Positioning of funds with Treasury as well as inter-department position clearing
- Inward & Outward cheque clearing
- Online banking - payment processing, account activation and maintenance
- Bill payments for Real Estate
- FX deals - creation, processing and liaising with dealers for rates
- Visa Debit Card ordering, processing and reporting
- Daily Suspense account reconciliation
- Opening of overdraft facilities
- Processing of account closures
- Other adhoc duties as requested by the section or department head.
Skills
- Ideally knowledge of some of the follwoing payments systems: CHAPS / BACS / Faster Payments / SEPA
- Good knowledge of SWIFT payment messages - MT103 / MT202 / MT202Cov / MT110 / MT199
- Keying directly into SWIFT / SWIFT Allicance
- Understanding of the various SWIFT fields
- Good oral and written communication
- Numerate and PC literate
