Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Systems Accountant for our Public Sector client.
Key responsibilities for the Systems Accountant are;
- Assisting with Phase 2 of the implementation of Unit 4 ERPx
- Provide accounting support and day to day running of the finance systems
- Act as administrator for the finance systems and take responsibility of the general ledger
- Oversee, manage, review and challenge all appropriate financial and non-financial systems within the organisation
- Provide training to budget holders and others in the wider organisation who need to use the systems
- Provide expert financial advice to colleagues and provide reports.
The Ideal candidate for the Systems Accountant will have;
- Fully Qualified Accountant
- Local Government experience ideal
- Experience in Unit 4 ERPx
- Finance Systems Implementation experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence others.
