Job Overview
The Systems & Digital eLearning Developer role is responsible for contributing to the implementation of digital transformation projects, including e-care planning, time and attendance system, maintenance management platform & others, by ensuring that new and existing systems are fully integrated, adopted and maintained through digital learning solutions. The role is also responsible for supporting the development of eLearning solutions in collaboration with our Learning & Organisational Development team.
Reporting to the Head of System Implementation, you will be a key member of the team working closely with implementation leads, operations, the L&D team and subject matter experts. The role will be responsible for designing high quality digital training programmes and materials. Using various software to scope, design & execute impactful training materials. Creating evaluation processes throughout the business to continuously improve training and resources provided.
Job Responsibilities:
Content Development:
· Propose, design and develop innovative eLearning content, including multimedia elements, interactive assessments, and scenario-based learning activities.
· Adapt complex technical concepts into user-friendly and visually appealing eLearning materials.
· Ensure that the eLearning modules are user-friendly, accessible, and optimised for different devices.
System Training:
· Collaborate with subject matter experts to gain in-depth understanding of our systems, ensuring accurate representation in the training content.
· Translate technical information into clear and concise training modules that cater to various learning styles.
· Gain a deep understanding of the internal systems used within Salutem Care & Education, ensuring accuracy and relevance in the eLearning content.
Interactive Design:
· Implement engaging interactions, animations, and simulations that promote active learning and retention of system-related concepts.
Technology Integration:
· Utilise eLearning tools, multimedia software, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to develop, test, and deploy eLearning content.
Quality Assurance:
· Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of eLearning modules to ensure functionality, interactivity, and accuracy.
· Address any technical issues or inconsistencies that arise during the development process.
Continuous Improvement:
· Stay updated on industry trends and eLearning best practices to enhance the effectiveness and innovation of training materials.
Collaboration:
· Work closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders & L&D to gather feedback and iteratively improve eLearning content.
Timely Delivery:
· Manage project timelines and prioritise tasks to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality eLearning modules.
User Support:
· Provide technical support to users accessing the eLearning modules, addressing any issues or inquiries that may arise.
Knowledge, skills and competency
Knowledge:
· Instructional Design Principles: Understanding of adult learning theories, learning styles, and instructional design methodologies to create effective eLearning content.
· eLearning Development Tools: Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as, Articulate360, Camtasia, or similar tools for designing interactive and engaging courses.
· Systems and Technology: Familiarity with the internal systems used within Salutem Care & Education, as well as a general understanding of healthcare and education technology.
· Multimedia Integration: Knowledge of incorporating multimedia elements like videos, audio, animations, and simulations to enhance the learning experience.
· Accessibility Standards: Understanding of accessibility guidelines to ensure eLearning modules are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
· Learning Management Systems (LMS): Familiarity with how learning management systems function and the ability to integrate eLearning content into an LMS.
· Healthcare and Education Context: Basic knowledge of healthcare and education processes, terminology, and regulations relevant to Salutem Care & Education
