NEW PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY FOR A SYSTEMS ENGINEERING MANAGER (VERIFICATION & VALIDATION) IN LONDON

• Permanent opportunity in London for a Systems Engineering Manager to work on mission critical projects
• Salary up to £80,000 DOE
• You will need to be willing and eligible to go through SC level Security Clearance
• Based in London – Hybrid working model – 3 days per week on site

WHAT WILL THE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING MANAGER BE DOING?

My client is a leading global defence and security company looking for an experienced Systems Engineering manager to ensure the Verification & Validation Test Team has the correct capability to meet anticipated needs of the business on mission critical projects.

THE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING MANAGER WILL..

• Approve V&V plans
• Provide management plan guidance
• Review Development Estimates
• Ensure realistic Programme plans
• Report positive outcomes
• Lead audits
• Ensure team resourcing
• Manage recruitment
• Drive continuous improvement
• Drive industry best practices
• Ensure design compliance
• Lead Design Review boards

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE INCLUDES…

• Demonstratable people management experience
• Full understanding of Systems Engineering and delivery of projects through the V model
• Understanding of Def Stan 00-35
• Experience using agile techniques
