Systems Integration Engineer

We are now recruiting for a Systems Integration Engineer to be involved in delivering an industry leading, cutting-edge design project for a new type of nuclear power station.
What we re looking for
• Reporting to the Systems Engineering Capability Manager, As Systems Integration Engineer you will be responsible for embedding systems engineering processes, methods and toolsets to enable the integrated digital design framework for the programme.

• This will involve developing the methods and underpinning processes and then supporting roll out and implementation through detailed engagement with the design teams to ensure full and consistent adoption. This will include requirements management, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), interface management and design information management topics.
As we strive to find the best fit for this position, we are seeking individuals with a minimum level of experience, training, and qualification. Key selection criteria for this role are:
Demonstrable understanding of applying a systems engineering approach to design. Experience with key systems engineering methodologies (e.g. Holistic requirements model, Pugh matrix, interface management)
Logical mindset and approach to tackling problems.
Experience and awareness of engineering lifecycle.
Experience in requirements management or structured verification and use of requirements management tools (e.g. IBM DOORS).
Experience with MBSE tools Capella preferred
Experience of working collaboratively across teams and organisations.
Managing stakeholders from broad range of disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
Ability to influence and embed change and new ways of working.
Adaptable in ambiguous situations.
Strong communication skills in various formats.
Experience in using Microsoft Azure and DevOps tools. Desirable
Experience with VS code and/or other coding platforms. Desirable
Qualification
• Hold a degree in qualification in an engineering or science discipline.
• Applicants without a degree who can nevertheless demonstrate suitable experience may also be considered.
Pay and Benefits
In addition to a competitive salary, there is also a performance related bonus of up to 12.5%, and an attractive pension scheme with 12% employer and 6% employee contributions. You will also receive a flexible benefits allowance of £2,200, enabling you to create a bespoke package to suit your needs.
This position can offer flexible hours and part-time hours to accommodate individual work-life balance needs. Schedule arrangements can be determined in collaboration with the employee and their line manager to ensure successful job performance and job satisfaction.
