We are recruiting for a talented teaching assistant to join a local Plymouth secondary school from now until the end of the school year to assist their SEND department!
The school is easily accessed by public transport and car drivers alike, with staff parking available too.
The successful applicant will be an adaptable support worker, capable of changing up how they work to best suit the needs of the students they are working with, delivering thought provoking educational support across the course of the student's learning in the academic year.
Key strategies will involve a good understanding of behaviour management, patience, empathy, and a willingness to go the extra mile for the students.
No formal qualification is mandatory, however previous experience within SEN, SEMH, or classroom based learning is advised for this role.
The pay will be GBP400 to GBP450 per week, scheduled for Monday to Friday hours during term time.
