Talent Acquisition Coordinator

I am delighted to be supporting our client in Chester who is looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Coordinator.

As Talent Acquisition Coordinator you will report into the HR Manager and form part of the wider HR team. Our client is on a high growth journey and needs this support to deliver on recruitment plans as well as developing recruitment and onboarding processes and supporting talent and development throughout the candidate journey.

A true brand ambassador, you will coordinate and manage the internal recruitment process, putting in robust procedures from requisition to on-boarding. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and support with the recruitment drive. You will liaise with external partners, ensuring processes are followed correctly and within agreed SLAs as well as setting up interviews, providing feedback and ensuring an exceptional candidate journey. You will have prior working knowledge and application of and ATS system, as well as social media and job boards and be comfortable directly sourcing candidates and building potential talent pipelines. You will govern the entire recruitment process to ensure it is consistent with their internal policy and will be responsible for offering successful candidates as well as managing all onboarding administration. You will assist with interviews if needed and provide updates internally on the progress of roles. You will develop a pipeline of potential talent and maintain the ATS system. You will be required to attend careers events and develop relationships with local education establishments. You will work closely with the L&D and HR Manager working on projects to improve recruitment and retention. On occasion, you may need to support the wider HR team with more generalist duties - support and training will be provided.

Essentially you will have previous experience in a recruitment/talent role and be able to hit the ground running and work autonomously with little direction. You will be in the detail and able to manage conflicting priorities. Your communication, influencing and challenging skills will be outstanding, and you will enjoy a busy role. You will be hungry for a challenge and enjoy owning a project from beginning to end.
