Talent Acquisition Manager

Location: Tillicoultry, FK13 6NS
Salary: Competitive, DOE + Benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 37.5 hours 9 to 5:30 Monday to Friday

Talent Acquisition Manager - Purpose of job:

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for promoting and ensuring that we create a positive image in the recruitment marketplace for Sterling. Its primary purpose is to ensure Sterling have the right people at the right time in the right place with the right skills so we drive the Company forward.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• To ensure that Sterling has a positive employment presence in the marketplace
• To agree manpower plans with Managers and the organisation
• Courting and interviewing top candidates
• To work with outside agencies to provide a positive image of the organisation and long-term sourcing
• Developing strategies and plans for Talent Acquisition.
• Attending job fairs at colleges and universities
• Managing posts on job boards, such as the Company Website LinkedIn, indeed etc
• Planning and organizing career fairs and related events
• Promoting the company’s brand
• Working with Manager to enable the right final hiring decisions.
• Working with the HR Information Manager in designing competitive offer packages
• Developing programs to reward and retain top talent.
• To provide managers with accurate information on market place and work with them to develop action plans and support them with follow up
• Actively work with the HR team
• Overseeing the management of employee recruitment and selection processes.
• Identifying a fair and inclusive process for all applicants.
• Ensuring all legal HR paperwork is fully compliant with legislation before starting.
• Providing support, thought partnership, and coaching to all levels of the company.
• Staying attuned to organizational and operational changes across the company to identify potential employee manpower issues.
• Maintaining the highest level of integrity when managing new hires.
• Co-ordinate the training of all Managers on HR Processes through their experience before and during start
• Co-ordinate employee orientation
• Be pro-active in developing own skills and knowledge in order to improve organisational performance
• Liaise with external consultants in the provision of selection services.
• Provide regular reports to Board of Directors/Senior Management Team on relevant activities.
• Undertake other duties as and when required


Talent Acquisition Manager - Qualifications/skills required to perform role:

Essential:

• HR Qualification and relevant experience
• Provision of Talent Acquisition in a fast-paced organisation
• Proven track record in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills, at all levels inc. small and large groups

Desirable:

• Previous experience within a retail environment
