Job description

The Protective Care Group offers bespoke, tailor-made support services to the families of children or young adults with severe and complex needs. We specialise in providing a level of support that local authorities are often unable to; support that makes a real difference to somebody's quality of life and future prospects.

We care deeply about the services we provide but we're also very ambitious and growing quickly across the UK. So much so that we've doubled in size this year and will have doubled again by the end of 2024. We're investing in new properties and locations but crucially in our people. As there's such strong demand for our services, the team will continue to build which means we can offer you a genuine chance to grow with us.

About the role: Internal Talent Acquisition Partner (on-site c.4 days a week)

To achieve our goals, we need the right people in the right place at the right time. Alongside your core role of sourcing and selecting the right people, we want you to get involved with helping us improve; with projects, with developing our service and ultimately with retention longer term.

  • Tasks and challenges within your role will vary, but the headlines will include:
  • Bringing our business to life for our candidates through running an engaging, supportive and informative recruitment process including designing and running activity and assessment days
  • We understand that changing roles and joining a new company is a big step for people, so you'll provide clarity at every step and importantly you'll listen, care and support.
  • Make the right hiring decisions by aligning the business and the candidates in those choices and also challenging decision when necessary
  • Working closely with our Onboarding, Induction and Engagement Partner, build and execute a seamless experience for all successful candidates
  • Projects: supporting with a new system roll-out, ongoing system development, process change and improvement, social media, marketing and more
  • Support and guide new interviewers to ensure confidence and that standards are consistently high

Requirements

We're a collaborative and busy bunch and we have fun, but we do get the job done. The most important thing we're looking for is someone who grasps 'why' we do what we do and who wants to make a real difference to others' lives. Also, so you can recognise that same quality in others.

You'll be able work at pace, communicate with clarity, think creatively and think ahead. As we grow things will change, so be ready to roll your sleeves up and get involved with what needs to be done. There might be some travel from time to time but not that often.

Ideally, you'll have worked in a recruitment role, either internally or agency side, or have experience of interviewing and recruiting perhaps from an HR point of view. If it's only a little experience you have, we'll provide the support you need.

Benefits

We're based in stunning self-designed studios in converted barns with plenty of free parking, an on-site gym, bakery, deli' and butchers. As we're in the south Cotswolds countryside (GL53 9PQ), maybe check out how to get to us. In addition to a competitive salary, we can offer you we're offering a genuine chance to grow your role as the team grows. Plus:

  • Company pension scheme to which you can increase contributions
  • Free gym membership on-site
  • Access to electric car charging points
  • Plenty of free parking
  • Break out areas, super coffee (and hot chocolate!) machines and chilled water stations
  • Personalised onboarding support; we'll stick with you all the way as you join us
  • Structured, tailored induction plans
  • Access to all our training courses
  • On-line training and annual refresher training
  • Paid holiday allowance and you can roll-over 5 days a year
  • Long service enhanced holiday allowance
  • We'll honour unpaid leave for you if you run out of holiday allowance
  • Paid compassionate leave
  • Active and generous refer a friend bonus scheme
  • Have your birthday off
  • Company sick pay
  • Maternity and Paternity paid leave
  • Employee Assistance Programme - for work and personal support
  • Internal confidential Welfare & Wellbeing support
  • Tailored self-development planning
  • Voucher reward scheme for improvement suggestions that we action
  • Hybrid working (depending on the requirements of the role)
  • On-site café, sports physio, butcher, deli, Padel-Shift sport and clothes shop! (You've got to pay for these!)

Plus, we will offer you much of the same training as our field teams.
