K.A.G. are delighted to be exclusively recruiting for Talent Acquisition Specialists to join our client a technology driven, specialist industrial services provider based in the West Midlands.
Job Title:Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Birmingham - Hybrid (3 Days at home, 2 days in the office)
Salary: Competitive - Plus Car or Car Allowance and Private Health Care.
Contract: 6 - month FTC with potential to go permanent
Purpose of the role:
To provide an end-to-end recruitment and support service to specified business functions whilst also offering operational guidance and support to managers throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a consistently excellent candidate journey from start to finish including ensuring consistency in interview and assessment processes to enhance the recruitment process and reduce attrition for recent starters. We are looking for Talent Acquisition Specialists who have worked in fast paced environments in Engineering/Manufacturing or Technical recruitment.
Duties:

  • Ensure a consistently excellent level of service to the hiring community across the business
  • Be an advocate of best practice and challenge the business to follow the best selection policy possible whilst championing the business brand and embody that when interacting with the candidate market
  • Accurately track candidates through the HR system, guiding managers through the process
  • Work closely with managers to increase diversity in shortlists across all business functions
  • Support with day-to-day interaction with approved suppliers and ensure appropriate recruitment methods are utilised relevant to each role
  • Coordinate advertising campaigns and provide updates to managers in order to hit internal SLAs
  • Support hiring managers in interviews as and when required and applicable and provide appropriate screening for candidates as required
  • Develop and standardise interview packs for high-volume requirements and arrange interviews and assessment centres as applicable, Issue psychometric and other online testing as required
  • Ensure candidate journey for all candidates is consistently of a high standard no matter the outcome of the individual applicant
  • Provide HR Business Partners and the wider HR team with updates on recruitment levels

The ideal candidate will have experience from a previous position in either Agency or an In House environment and will be used to working on high volume vacancies within Engineering, Manufacturing or Technical recruitment. This is an amazing opportunity for you to manage and drive the success of the inhouse recruitment function, to continue and improve on the levels of service given to stakeholders.
