Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new role of Tall Building Liaison Officer within our Housing Management Service
In this role you would be working specifically across our Tall Buildings as a key point of contact for residents liaising with the Housing management team, our repairs team, and our Rangers on site.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person, who will work collaboratively with others in the organisation.
Your role will include completing a variety of visual checks within our Tall Buildings and ensuring that we record and manage information related to the building and our residents with a focus on ensuring that we meet all building, fire, safety, and regulatory standards for our homes. You will be out on site for a good proportion of the time and liaising with customers will be a key part of the role.
Your role is to support the Housing Management Team in the delivery of an excellent estate management service. You will do this by working in a way that shows genuine commitment to providing a good quality of life for people living on PCH estates. This will mean demonstrating, by word and action that you are interested in ensuring that the views and priorities of the customers are taken into account in all aspects of service delivery with which you assist.
Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who:
Has knowledge of the function of Social Housing and experience of working with working with a diverse range of people, some of whom are socially or financially excluded
Has knowledge of fire safety and Health and safety
Understand and recognise the importance of building safety for our residents and ensure that we accurately record and share information that may relate to customer safety
Can work flexibly, demonstrating experience of working in a customer focused environment
Has previous experience of working for a social housing provider
Is proficient use of IT including Word, Excel, and Outlook applications
