Responsibilities:Tandoori Bread Preparation:Expertise in preparing a variety of traditional Qatari bread, such as Khubz, Rgag, and Tannour.Skilled in working with a tandoor oven to achieve the authentic texture and flavor of Qatari bread.
Menu Innovation:Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and introduce new and creative tandoor bread recipes.Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques to enhance the menu.
Quality Control:Ensure that all tandoor bread products meet the restaurant's quality standards.Implement strict hygiene and safety protocols to maintain a clean and organized tandoor station.
Ingredient Management:Responsible for the inventory and proper storage of tandoor-related ingredients.Monitor ingredient freshness and quality to uphold the restaurant's commitment to excellence.
Adherence to Recipes:Strictly follow established recipes and cooking techniques to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.Collaborate with the head chef to make adjustments to recipes when necessary.
Team Collaboration:Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate the timing of tandoor bread preparation with other menu items.Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
Equipment Maintenance:Regularly inspect and maintain the tandoor oven and related equipment.Report any malfunctions or issues promptly and assist in arranging repairs.
Training and Development:Provide training to kitchen staff on tandoor bread preparation techniques.Stay updated on industry best practices and share knowledge with the team.
