We have a rotating shift pattern of 4 on 4 off including both day and night shifts, and weekends.
We’re looking for people that can:
- Contribute to the successful running of the production operation, helping us meet and beat our daily plans;
- Operate equipment efficiently and manage shift handovers effectively:
- Take prompt action to prevent accidents and near misses and have a strong awareness of health and safety;
- Maintain equipment to the highest of cleanliness standards, using dedicated CIP set as and when necessary;
- Work closely with a range of colleagues including engineering to minimise machine downtime in order to meet the production plan;
- Ensure compliance documentation is completed accurately and correctly; and
- Seek ways to continually improve activities to improve safety and increase cost efficiencies.
The right people will…
- Have a strong awareness of Health and Safety;
- Have a proactive approach towards work and be able to work independently with minimum supervision;
- Have good communication skills and be a team player;
- Be computer literate in order to operate machinery and systems; and
- Be prepared to work shifts;
- Experience in the food industry is disable but not essential.
