Tapping & Jointer

DCT Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Tapping & Jointer to join our team.
This is a 2-week contract position based in Leeds city centre, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and smoothing them prior to applying joint compound
- Apply joint compound to seams, corners, and other areas to create a seamless finish
- Tape and reinforce joints to ensure durability
- Sand and finish surfaces to achieve a smooth and polished appearance
- Repair and patch damaged areas as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tapping and Jointer or in a similar role
- Expertise in applying joint compound and tape to achieve a professional finish
- Strong knowledge of different types of drywall and their application techniques
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Salary:
The salary for this position is £21-£22 per hour CIS , depending on experience.
