Targeted Lung Health Check Project Support Officer

Please note the base for this post can be located at any of the HNYICB offices The scope of the Project Support Officer job role is to: Support the continued development and implementation of the different elements of the Targeted Lung Health Check Programme e.g., supporting task and finish groups. smoking cessation services, pathways across the Humber and North Yorkshire Cancer Alliance area. Undertake specific projects and pieces of work which contribute to the Lung Cancer and Targeted Lung Health Check Programme and may often be complex in nature. Work closely with stakeholders across the health and care system including senior clinicians and managers, patient representatives etc. Support the production and maintenance of programme documentation to monitor and control progress. Work with the programme team to analyse data and interpret and report on results to drive service improvement. Support the Targeted Lung Health Check Programme through open and effective communication both internally and externally. This will include receiving and providing information which can be complex, sensitive and / or contentious in nature. Use a wide variety of communication mediums including face to face meetings, one-to-one appointments, working with stakeholders and / or patient representatives, small groups, focus groups and larger events such as workshops, email, the development and delivery of presentations and reports, arranging meetings and workshops etc. Be able to employ motivational, negotiating and other communication skills effectively. Support and inform the targeting of resources by accessing and presenting information from routine sources such as HSCIC, PHE Fingertips tools etc.
