A new opportunity has arisen within our Student Services department for a motivated and committed Targeted Progression Coach, to work for our subsidiary company, Herts Resourcing Group, based at Hertford Regional College. Here at the college, the individual learner is central to all our endeavours and the College has seen significant improvement in the quality of its provision in recent years.
We are seeking a Targeted Progression Coach for our Broxbourne campus, to oversee the educational progress of specific learners, to help improve attendance and act as a mentor to provide them with individualised support and challenge to stretch their potential to the full. The role holder will promote greater focus on each learner's educational progress and to ultimately encourage higher levels of academic achievement. They will work with at risk learners and monitor learner progress against targets to maximise the educational progress that these learners make. They will work closely with the targeted departments to raise overall key markers such as attendance, punctuality, timely work completion and achievement.
The successful candidate will be a talented and dedicated individual that can demonstrate evidence of having guided and supported young people to make improved progress, ideally in an educational setting, together with qualities that are aligned to our TEAMHRC Values and Behaviours.
They will also possess good communication and analytical skills, with proven ability to use management information to identify issues and opportunities to drive performance.

Hours : 36 hours - Monday to Friday, Term Time only working 40 weeks in the year
Salary : Actual Salary £24,580.25 per annum (based on FTE of £27,640 per annum)
Please note that due to starting mid year, the initial monthly salary payments will reflect the number of actual working days between the start date and the end of the academic year and will therefore be less than the actual salary stated. You will receive a full years salary from the start of the next academic year.
Annual Leave : You will also annual entitlement of receive 25 days per annum plus bank and public holidays (pro rata) that is incorporated into salary payment.
