Description

• Prepare and review tax returns and reports.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure correct application.
• Collaborate with the finance team to create effective strategies for tax planning and compliance.
• Handle tax audits and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Provide advice and guidance on tax-related matters to the management team.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes in tax legislation.
• Prepare tax forecasts and budgets for the retail company.

Profile

A successful Tax Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting or Tax.
• Strong knowledge of indirect tax & VAT.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent understanding of tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
